Riche qui peut...
The Hôtel de Crillon is probably one of the most luxurious hotel in Paris. Crowned heads, celebrities and VIPs stayed at the hotel and diplomats for the embassies nearby hang out at the bar. The elite of Paris stop by in the afternoon for a snack at the Jardin d'Hiver. The hotel's restaurant, Les Ambassadeurs has 2 Michelin stars last time I checked. Unfortunately, if you want to visit it, you will have to wait until 2015 as the Crillon is being renovated at the moment.
If the Crillon was open, today's outfit is what I would wear if I went to the Jardin d'Hiver for an afternoon tea. The black accessories recall the black accents of the dress.

La ville lumière
Finally, a location I've really been to. I've been to Paris twice and last time was last summer, so my memories are fairly recent. Of course, we associate the City of Lights with fashion and we want to look our best when we go there, thinking every Parisian women are oh so fashionable.
I have one thing to say to you: Don't fret. Not everyone walking around Paris look like they are about to attend a Chanel or Dior fashion show. You'll definitely meet badly dressed Parisians along with "OMG, does she work for Vogue?" Parisians. Jeans, t-shirts and sneakers can be worn around Paris. You don't have to feel bad about not being able to walk in heels for an extended period of time. Most French women seem to favor the "ballerines" (flats, but sounds so much better in french) when getting from point A to point B, hiding their pumps in their bags, or simply sticking to their flats once they reach their destination.
Paris (and France in general) is also known for it's exquisite food and, yes, Parisian are usually thin, but it is again not a general rule, though more common then one would think. The only fat Parisians (and here I'm not talking about morbidly obese people, but simply slightly fat people) I've ever seen are the chefs and "pâtissiers", which kinda makes sense. I mean, would you trust a thin chef? I wouldn't. Now, the fact that many Parisians are thin doesn't mean that they don't enjoy the good food they have access to or that they are anorexic. One of the factor for their thinness is the fact that they walk and take public transportation. If you have ever been to Paris and took the Métro, you will agree that all the stairs to get to the platform is quite a good cardio exercise. I don't think I ever saw an escalator... or even an elevator.
The other factor is: they smoke. A lot. Way too much. They are not allowed to smoke inside public places, so it's like in North America: they do it outside, near the doorways and eat outside. So forget eating on a parisian "terrasse" if you don't like the smell of cigarettes.

Così fan tutte
Today's location is a festival taking place in the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, hence the title of this post which is the title of one of Mozart's opera. I went for an elegant look that would be perfect to assist to one of the performances given in the evening, but might be a bit over the top for a matinee. I added a jacket in case it gets chilly in the evening even if the festival is held in July (the last week) and in August.

Kalt
As you can easily imagine, today's location inspired me to create a winter look. Just look at the picture at the top with an enormous quantity of snow. Gives me shivers just to see it. Even if these two towns are skiing location I did not create a skiing look. So I went for a fur coat (For PETA fans, vegans, vegetarians and anyone else who might be concerned: Get over it and go for fake fur and let others make their own choices) because it keeps you very warm. The boots are their for practicality as I do not recommend high-heeled boots where there is snow. One might slip and fall... and potentially break something. Looking fashionable is important, but not at the expense of one's health.
So I also added tights and a hat to keep yourself warm. The dress is there to add a splash of color when you open up your coat when you are inside. I chose that handbag because it was dark and went with the rest of the outfit, but also because the colourful detail added another hint of colour to the outfit.

Leabhar Cheanannais
I've actually seen the Book of Kells and it is quite a thing to see. The details are amazing. I went for this chic look because I just felt that this piece of art needed an elegant look for seeing it, even if most tourist go there in very casual attire, including myself (can't bring your entire wardrobe in your suitcase).
