Oileáin Árann

Out of the city and back into Ireland's countryside, even if I'm pretty sure there is more to Dublin than pubs, an old hotel and a restaurant with two Michelin stars. But I follow the locations in the books... Anyway, since the Aran Islands seem to need a comfy outfit to vsit them, I went with a sweater which is kinda green, a nice pair of jeans, flat ankle boots (designed by the blogger behind "The Blond Salad") and a backpack to drag along all the essentials when one does a lot of walking. The earrings and the hair accessory add a little something while still staying with the whole nature/countryside theme.

P.S. Congrats to London for a great opening ceremony!

Abaty

I have to admit that the pictures of the location more than the description inspired me for this look. It's the countryside and the light tends to make me believe that the air was crisp and chilly, hence the turtleneck and the jeans. The other parts of the outfit were simply based on those two pieces of clothing.

Yr Eidal

The architect who built Portmeirion was inspired by Portofino in Italy so I decided to also be inspired by this italian village, hence the bright color outfit, perfect for sunny weather, which we all associate with Italy. I especially like the shoes as they are very original and also because I finally managed to put them in an outfit (yay me!).

Innse Gall

Islands! Many islands in the north of Scotland, hence the jeans, as I'm guessing that the north of Scotland can be quite cold. The top has short sleeves in case the weather is warmer than usual.

安如泰山

Nobody really knows who built Stonehenge (druids, aliens (highly doubt about that)) and why it was built (solar or lunar temple, some sort of solar calendar). All we know is that it's there and that it is quite amazing. In this look, only the accessories have something with the who and why of Stonehenge. The handbag with the appearance of an old book and the simple gold ring are there to go with the druid theory, while the star earrings are there to go with the alien theory and the solar/lunar temple theory. The rest of the outfit is very casual, to be comfy when you visit this historical site.
